Trackback Example

Trackbacks are an powerful way of creating links between different blogs, which increases relevance and traffic from the search engines.  This is the the original post, which would have content that someone else would refer to on their blog....think reference citation in the offline world.  So this is the original work.  When I create the "post" in TypePad, I have to check the box to "Accept Trackbacks".

Note:  Though the "ping" from the other blog entry is sent automatically, I had to "accept" the trackback for it to appear below.
